A New Partnership

The ApotheCom team were delighted to support the Huntington’s Disease Association (HDA) with their future planning and strategic direction workshop. The HDA has the vision of enabling everyone affected by Huntington’s disease to live life to their full potential, and it was a privilege for us to play a small part in helping them with this endeavour.

Huntington’s Disease is an illness caused by a faulty gene in your DNA and primarily affects the body’s nervous system. Huntington’s can cause changes with movement, learning, thinking and emotions. Once symptoms begin, the disease gradually progresses, so living with it means facing daily challenges that can require support and important information.

The HDA do amazing work improving care and support for those living with this genetic condition, educating families and the professionals who work with them, all whilst championing the needs of the Huntington’s community to the wider community.

We will be continuing our partnership with HDA throughout 2022, supporting them with various initiatives and projects that will be central to their organisational vision and mission. We are excited to walk this journey with them and see how we can collectively improve the lives of people living with Huntington’s Disease.
